Geolog is seeking Geochemists with strong backgrounds in geology and organic geochemistry to join our interpretation team. The successful candidate will provide direct support in geochemical data interpretation for ongoing projects, leveraging industry-recognized software tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze geochemical datasets and generate interpretation reports.
  • Apply geochemical and geological interpretation workflows using specialized software.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver accurate and timely insights.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • MSc in Geology, with a focus on Geochemistry applied to the petroleum industry.
  • 2–5 years in an International Oil Company, Oilfield Services Company, or Academia with industry-related projects.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Petroleum geochemistry, including sampling and analytical methods.
    • Database management and petroleum geochemical interpretation.
    • Proficiency in geochemical interpretation software (e.g., PIGI or similar).
  • Background in sedimentology, petrography, stratigraphy, and production is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact across all organizational levels.
  • Client-focused approach to deliverables and timelines.
