Geolog International, a global leader in surface logging and formation evaluation services, is hiring Laboratory Technicians for onshore XRF/XRD mineralogical and geochemical analysis in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse rock/cuttings samples using XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) and XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) instruments
Interpret elemental and mineralogical composition data for formation evaluation reporting
Maintain lab equipment calibration, QA/QC protocols, and sample chain-of-custody
Compile and report analytical results to project geologists/clients
Maintain a safe, organised onshore lab environment per HSE standards

Candidate Profile:

B.Sc/M.Sc in Geochemistry, Geology, Applied Geology, or Chemistry with strong mineralogy component
Hands-on experience with XRF and/or XRD instrumentation strongly preferred (training provided for strong academic candidates without direct experience)
Mud Logging background also considered, given transferable wellsite/sample-handling experience
Prior lab-based (non-rig-site) oilfield services or geoscience lab experience is a plus
Willing to work in Saudi Arabia on a rotational lab-based assignment.
Valid passport; medical fitness for standard employment
Good written/spoken English for technical reporting
